One of the qualities I admire most in a worker is follow through, someone who completes the last 10% of a project they started.
Sure, new projects are fun.
The adrenaline is pumping.
The newness of everything.
But how many times have you seen a project that drags out or is never completed or is transferred to another resource?
Wrapping up the last 10% shows a dedication which is hard to find.
Closing a project is a skill.
Some people make is look easy.
What's even better is having someone take ownership of a project from beginning to end, with little or no supervision.
Those be the superstars in my book!
